To celebrate the publication of Walking Jane Austen’s London I am over at the lovely Word Wenches’ blog in conversation with historical romance author Jo Beverley about the story behind the book. Why not drop in and leave a comment there – there is the prize of a copy of the book to one lucky commentator.

This is the book I have been quietly waiting for this year. With a trip to the UK planned for next year with my sister we plan to visit as many of the sites in this book as possible. Congratulations on a great resource for all history buffs!!
Thank you, Sasha! I hope you have a fabulous trip – and don’t forget to go over to Word Wenches to comment there for a chance to win
This looks wonderful!
What a great book for a Jane Austen fan and whose favorite city is London.
Thanks, Cindy! Do drop in to Word Wenches and comment there for a chance to win!
What a marvelous idea for a book. Any chance you might do walking tours of Jane Austen’s Bath or Lyme? I just wrote an adaptation of Persuasion for the stage and I would love to recommend your work to actors and directors.
I’d love to, Jennifer, but I don’t think it would be a commercial proposition for me. There are some good walking tours of Bath already, though. I’m not sure about Lyme, I’m afraid.
Good luck with the play – it sounds delightful
I am entering the conversation a bit late, but I am adding my thoughts to the Wenches blog tonight! I am hoping my library secures a copy of this book because it sounds like such a wicked sweet introduction to both London and a new viewpoint of Ms. Austen!
Thanks to everyone who dropped in to Word Wenches!
Lovely news!
My wife and I wanted to visit London back in 1997 but due to a sad and unfortunate coincidence the funeral of Princess Diana took place and we couldn’t even get near that great city. It is still on our ‘bucket’ list. Thank you for the opportunity….
Another book about Jane Austen?! Yippee!!! My collection of Jane Austen books is already making room for this newbie 🙂
Pleased to announce that the winner was Sharon S. Congratulations!
